Welcome to the Cross Keys Inn
Welcome to the website of the Cross Keys Inn Uppermill. The team would like to welcome you to our traditional country pub.
The Cross Keys Inn was originally built in 1745 situated on the Old Marsden Packhorse Route, it first opened as a tavern in 1763. Set in a beautiful location in the heart of the Saddleworth hills we offer breathtaking views of the Tame Valley, abundant wildlife and much more...
We have several rooms throughout the pub which can be dined in or booked for any occasion, we have a large beer garden to the rear and children's play area. We also have a large covered terrace and outside seating to the front with a large car park offering 50 spaces.
Our Christmas Menu is now availabe here
Our next Open Mic night is on the 21st December for Christmas celebrations. For more information see our what's on page or visit the Facebook page

All we can say is The Cross Keys Inn Uppermill is a GRADE 2 listed building, under heritage and also in a conservation area. This refurbishment has been being dealt with in design etc.. for 2&1/2 years. We love this building and what it's history stands for. We are using real aged dark oak for bar etc, also restoring things that have been hidden for many years and at day 1 we have found what we was hoping was there. The Cross Cross Keys Inn Uppermill will always remain a traditional country Inn welcoming walkers and dogs and local groups as it always has with real home cooked food as always. The main thing is we will have new furniture as most won't realise all this is down to re plumbing and wiring. Hope this helps anyone who has doubts we would ruin one of the treasures of Saddleworth 😁 Also we are open in the barn with a full drinks range if you would like to call up and support a real local traditional public house. Many thanks. Dave & Craig. x
